Harvest Festival

We spent the afternoon at a harvest festival in Parker called Halloween with Horses. We met up with some good friends of ours - the Goodmans. Andrew was super excited to see Sophia because he hasn't seen her a few months. They are so cute together!

This place had everything... pumpkin patch, pony rides, yummy food, trick or treating, a harvest obstacle course, tractor rides and horses in Halloween costumes... yes I said horses. :-) It was pretty cool. Andrew had a blast and is now taking a nap - which he never does!!

Of course I had my camera with me at all times. Here are some pictures from our day of fun.

Horses dressed up like Bronco football players - I love the little pony football.

At the little pumpkin patch, there were hundreds of pretty orange pumpkins and when asked what pumpkin he wanted. Andrew grabs a green one and says "THIS ONE!!" Last year we took him to the pumpkin patch and he picked out a tiny squash to carve. I'm beginning to think he has some aversion to orange pumpkins.

I'll end the post with a self portrait we took on the grass while we were waiting for Blake to bring us icecream. Yum... a perfect ending to a perfect day.
