Mmmm... cake

I had Jello poke cake for my birthday and Andrew had fun "helping" me frost it. He was licking the lid of the whip cream and got a dab on his nose. I couldn't resist grabbing my camera and getting a picture.

Check out the flowers Blake got me for my birthday!! So pretty and they smell so good. I'm a very lucky girl! Who says birthdays are depressing? I have so much to be thankful for and am so glad I'm here to celebrate another bday. Talk to me when I'm turning 40, it might be another story.. :-)

Happy Birthday to me! (a day early)

Check out this pretty birthday present I got in the mail. Thank you Sissy, Mike, Kyle, Kevin, Katie and Kayla! I just love things that are wrapped up all pretty and Red Envelope has the best packaging. Even better what's inside is prettier than the packaging! It's a silver cuff bracelet that has the word sister in six different languages. Did you know that "sister" is synonymous with "love" in every language? Well if you didn't now you do. ;-)

More Soccer pics!

Well you can tell what I've been taking pictures of lately! I got a few action shots of Andrew from his last game. He loves to sprint down the field and stare at his shoes. I think he likes to see how fast he is running!

Andrew's 1st medal!!

We had a soccer game this morning and the coach handed out medals to all the players. What a CUTE idea! So, here is our little soccer star sporting his very first medal. By the way he now refers to himself as a soccer star. This kid will never suffer from low self esteem! :-)

Happy Mother's Day!

Yes, I know Mother's Day was a week ago but I'm just finally getting to post about it. :-) I can hardly believe my baby is 3 1/2 years old. Where has the time gone? I went shopping for him the other day and I'm no longer buying clothes in the toddler section. I'm in the BOYS section! The BIG boys section. Sniff.. sniff..

Here is a picture of the adorable flower pot Andrew made for me at preschool. It has such a cute poem in it. When I picked him up from school. His teacher handed it to him and said "Why don't you show your Mommy what you made for her?" His reply? "No! This is for me, this is for Andrew. Not for Mommy." It took him a couple hours but he finally gave it to me.

Our little "mulch" helper

Most of you know we put 11 yards of mulch down the weekend before my surgery. Here are some pics of Andrew helping us out. He loved filling up his tractor and driving it to another area to dump the bark out.

Soccer pics!

I am so far behind on this blog but I'm sure you can understand why :-) I don't have much time this morning so I'll just get straight to what you all come here for in the first place. PICTURES!!!
There are several from Andrew's soccer game. I'll post more pics from the last month later today or tomorrow!

I love this shot of him because he is concentrating so hard. Notice he is biting his tongue? Just like his Daddy! Too funny.
