Christmas came early

Okay, so not really. I forced it to come early. I got the mail and there was the present I had been waiting for and knew was coming. My mom asked me what I wanted and I told her about the beautiful necklace I had been wanting, blah blah blah. When I saw the box I don't know what came over me but I *had* to open it. Sorry Mom. Plus I figured she lives hundred of miles away and would have to get on a plane to come kick my butt once she found out I opened it early. It was a chance I was willing to take.

FYI... I did tell her when I spoke to her last night that I already opened it and it was around my neck. Didn't want her reading about it on my blog before I thanked her for it.

But seriously I just love this necklace and have been admiring it for months now. You can find it here along with many many more necklaces that are so fun and just beautiful. I think they make such great unique gifts!

So, thank you Mom and Dad!!

Here is the whole reason for the necklace... my boy. This boy can melt my heart with just a look and brightens my day every morning when he comes down the stairs and snuggles on my lap.

NOTE: No, Andrew doesn't call me "mama" anymore and hasn't for years as my husband so nicely pointed out (thanks honey) but my reasoning for using mama instead of mommy is because I was a mama before I was a mommy. So there! ;-)

LOL- The necklace is LOVELY! And as for your mom....well, that sounds like a win/win situation if you ask me.
1) she doesn't kick your butt for it so she isn't mad about the early opening......or
2) she gets on a plane and flies out to "kick your butt" in which case you get to see her for the holidays!! (And we all know once she sees her darling daughter in person all that "mad at you" is just gonna melt away!!)
Happy Holidays, to you and yours!!
