A few days ago we took a trip up to Vail while Papa and Nana were here visiting. It was absolutely beautiful up there and we had a wonderful day trip. We walked around the village and took a gondola ride up to the top of the hill (roughly 11,000 feet) and took in some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. We have to come back for the changing of the leaves in a few weeks.
Then much to our surprise Andrew wanted to ride this trampoline bungee ride at the top of the mountain. Now if you know Andrew you know how reserved he is and he is NOT a daredevil. When he saw this contraption he ran over to it and kept saying how he wanted to ride it. We all thought "ya right, wait until he's strapped in." I mean we are talking about the kid I took to the zoo a few months ago and wouldn't ride a horse on the carousel, he likes the bench. He got strapped in and had a worried look on his face but as soon as he started bouncing and realized he wasn't going to get hurt a smile never left his face. Then he wouldn't leave us alone until we let him go a second time. Then get this.... he did two flips!! Who is this child and what have you done with my baby? We were so proud of him that he stepped out of his comfort zone and really let loose. He is really growing up and getting so big. sniff. sniff.
Here are some pics from our great day at Vail.

My superhero.
I love love love this picture of him. He is my little model, my little superhero and my little man. We took off last night to get some superhero shots of him for his birthday invitations and plus I just wanted to get some awesome photos of him wearing his super Andrew costume to capture who he really is right now. This is the reason I fell in love with photography. Capturing these moments. Really when I think about it, Andrew is the reason I fell in love photography. He is my muse. :-)

I have the best job ever.
Look at this precious baby boy I photographed this morning. Makes me miss when Andrew was this small... (Don't get any ideas in your head. I don't miss the sleepless nights but definitely the new baby smell and just how sweet they are.) Check out my photography blog if you need to ohhh and ahhh over a sweet little baby. :-)

They arrived!!
My gallery wrapped canvases arrived a few days ago! I AM SO EXCITED AND BLOWN AWAY BY THEM!!! I've always loved these photos of Andrew and now I will have them forever. Well they are guaranteed for 60 years at least. :-) The bad thing is I want more!! I hope some of my clients buy them for Christmas presents, etc because they are so impressive in person and make such a unique and nice present.
Well Andrew and I are off for the day. The roofers are here banging away as they install the new roof and we have to get outta here.

Photo catch up
Okay, it's only taken me two months to get around to editing the photos from our trip to CA. I've just been so busy with other sessions I haven't had the time. It feels so good to get caught up plus I can't wait to get some of these pictures printed so I can put them all around the house.
I love the one of all four of them above. The lake looks so pretty behind them! Have you ever seen a better looking group of kids? (Sorry Kyle. Yes, I know you are an adult but you'll always be a kid to me. :-)
