Mother nature make up your mind!
70 degrees at 3 pm and snowing at 10 pm. Really? This is how it's been here the past week. The funny thing is I kinda like it! Yesterday we had a beautiful day in the mid 60's and today we are under a Winter Weather Advisory and they are expecting 6-12 inches of snow in our area.
So bare feet one day, snow boots the next! Happy spring!

Snow, snow melt away...
come back another day! It's getting warmer and the snow is finally melting at the parks. It's supposed to be in the 50s' for the next few days!
We've missed being able to go to the park and burn some energy and play. As you can see in the pictures there is still a lot of snow on the ground but the equipment is perfect to play on.
We met Andrew's best buds at the park and they had a blast running and playing until the sun went down and it got especially cold. I see park days coming up all week!
cute little Nikki comes walking up...

SNOW DAY!
What a surprise to wake up to this...

I had heard grumblings of snow but didn't pay much attention to it, thinking it wouldn't happen. I was so excited when I woke up and it was snowing... A LOT! Well, we only ended up with about 6 inches but it was the perfect amount to play in. :-)

Basking in the sunshine
I know, I know. One minute I'm begging for snow and the next I'm praising the sunshine but that is the great thing about Colorado. You can have both! It was 60 yesterday with lots of sunshine. So, I pulled out Andrew's quad and tractor for him and his buddy to ride on in the backyard. If you closed your eyes and felt the sunshine on your face and listened to their laughter and the sounds of the toys you would have thought it were summer. I know I have a long way to go until that happens and really I'm sure I'll be asking for snow next week! Here are some pictures of Andrew on his quad.
